Incredible train dodge - Train Just Misses Man on the Tracks

It was a scary scene at a traffic crossing near Buenos Aires, Argentina when a man was almost struck by a train. He managed to get a stalled van out of the way but had to quickly jump back behind the tracks when the train came zooming by.

Hero pushes a stalled van from the train tracks just before it's hit. He was very brave and selfless. But by all accounts he should be dead. Instead of continuing forward, the turns around and tries to walk BACK, across the tracks, in front of the train. Kind hearted, yes. Smart? Nope. I guess that's what guardian angels are for.
